Do Slimming Pills Ever Work?
This is the headline in the Daily Mail dated 19th October 2010. Lorraine McCreary, a state registered dietician from Diet Scotland reviewed the main pills and marked the various options for their effectiveness:-
Xenical, the prescription only Orlistat medication gained the highest rating at 8 out of 10. It’s available to people with a BMI of 28+ and as with all diet pills needs to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise.
Xenical is available from our online pharmacy with a free online consultation from our doctors and a prescription if required.
Alli, the non prescription, half strength version of Xenical was rated 7 out 10. Here again you need to have a minimum BMI of +28, and need long term behavioural change for Alli to be most effective.
Seaweed pills, which include Adios and Femmeherb slim aid were rated 1 out of 10. Green tea pills including Perfect 10 and Slimshot were rated at 2 out of 10.
Bulking agents including Appesat, Fat Control and Slendex also were rated at 2 out of 10, whilst herbal appetite suppresants including Pure Hoodia and Slim-nite were rated at 0 out of 10.
So Xenical and Alli appear to be the most effective slimming pills, but remember to combine them with dieting and exercise. Visit our online chemist today if you really want to lose weight.
